Spotlight: Endless Midnight Releases “Prayer”

Mission Music has worked with this artist a couple of times before, so the name may be familiar to you. The singer-songwriter released this new song only a couple of months after their last single came out. The drive this musician has for creating songs is a testament to how much they truly care about their work.

About Endless Midnight

Musician Yuna Niemiec leads Endless Midnight, the alternative rock project. The vocals, instrumentals, and lyrics are all credited to Niemiec. As mentioned in previous posts by the Mission Music Foundation, Endless Midnight incorporates the sounds of rock, post-punk, metal, and more into their music. Showing no signs of slowing down in creating music, this is Endless Midnight’s third release this year. Endless Midnight released “Changes” in January and “Not Here Right Now” came out earlier this year in February. They have over 900 followers on Instagram. Just like the other two songs released this year, this new single embodies the same message in the lyrics. It seems like fans won’t have to wait long for new releases after this one.

About “Prayer”

This single sounds a lot different than the previous releases. The beginning does not have that hard rock sound. The beginning starts off with this cool drumbeat and it is accompanied by the vocals. Once you get to the chorus, that is when the guitar comes in. The guitar riffs throughout fluently carry the vocals. The theme of religion, Christianity, is present in this song, as well in most of Endless Midnight’s music. Asking for forgiveness and praying for everything they care for in life is the message in this track. The bridge offers this higher octave guitar riff that demonstrates Niemiec’s talents. This is my favorite part of the song. It is different than other songs by Endless Midnight. It is more simple I would say in terms of instrumentals, but that is what makes this song stand out amongst others. It is primarily just the electric guitar and drum in the background. It seems to be a somewhat new sound for Endless Midnight, but it still fits into their theme and style. Prayer comes out on Apr 17, 2022, so make sure you check it out on all streaming platforms.

Overall

Endless Midnight is really stepping out of their comfort zone with this new release. As said before, fans can rest easy knowing more music is coming from Endless Midnight very soon.
