“Changes”

This track starts off slow with a simple organ playing one note at a time. Yuna’s vocals come in to accompany the instrument soon after. When you get past the one minute mark, that is when the electric guitar comes in hot. The guitar provides the song with that punk rock and metal feel and amps the song up. The lyric “ Going through changes/ for better or for worse”, is just one example to give you a sense of what the song is about. Everyone can relate to these lyrics as everyone is constantly going through changes. Sometimes we don’t know why we are going through some of the things we are going through and just hope it all works out in the end. Changes gives the listeners a raw insight into life with a dark edge to it. The track also does not feature any heavy editing to the vocals or instruments which gives off a vulnerable and raw sound. This also lends a hand to hearing the real emotions of Yuna when singing this song.

Overall

Overall, Yuna provides edgy and raw songs that encapsulate an even bigger meaning than meets the eye. With the drive and dedication to their music, Yuna will continue to make songs that will relate to many.
